History of the Firm
Who are we
Our firm was originally established in 1975 under the name SYARIKAT PANG KAI TONG (PANG KAI TONG & CO.) and registered with the SURUHANJAYA SYARIKAT MALAYSIA (SSM). In 2010, the firm underwent restructuring and adopted the name PKT SECRETARIAL SERVICES to better reflect the nature of our business. To further enhance our operations, a new entity, PKT SECRETARIAL SERVICES (S) SDN. BHD. [202001027206 (1383526-A)], was formed in 2020. We are proud to have been recognised for our commitment to excellence, receiving the BEST COMPANY SECRETARY AWARD from SSM Negeri Sembilan in 2018.
Our firm has a core group of approximately 500 corporate clients in diversified fields of business ranging from engineering, agriculture, medical, plantation, property holding, motor vehicles, construction, food & beverage, hospitality, oil & gas, logistic & transportation, packaging, information technology, education, swiftlet home, general trading and consultancy service, and others industries.
Why do you need a Company Secretary
It is a must for a registered company to appoint a company secretary within one (1) month after incorporation. We mainly advise the Board of Directors regarding matters about the company in accordance with Malaysia Companies Act and Company’s Constitution.
